Everett Endodontics is in search of a Dental Assistant who exhibits quality service, commitment, accountability, and excellenceThe Dental Assistant provides a variety of oral health clinical procedures that assists the endodontist in providing a supreme customer experienceWe are looking for someone with the right attitude, mindset, and work ethic to maintain a timely schedule, warmly greet patients, ensure patient comfort and confidence in the services provided, stock supplies, and keep the operatory sanitaryThe ideal candidate will have demonstrable professionalism, communication (verbal, written, and non-verbal), teamwork, and job knowledge.
This position is in a dental practice setting that involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Must be able to communicate effectively with the doctor, teammates, and patients regularly, proactively, and in a professional, positive manner Prepares operatory with sterilized instruments and materials Welcomes patient with comfort to the operatory and prepares draping Liaison to patient and doctor Positions and/or passes instruments in sequence for doctor's access Reacts to patient's needs and provides suction for patient comfort Prepares material by selecting, mixing, and placing on instruments or in patient's mouth Take digital radiographs (x-rays) and CBCT to assist in oral care, diagnosis, and treatment Educate patients on oral care and postoperative instructions and respond to patient inquiries Must be able to read and interpret patient records Documents dental care by charting patient records Maintains proper dental supplies and inventory by documenting, ordering, and verifying receipt of supplies; coordinating with Practice Administrator Secures patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential; adheres to HIPPA compliance Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Protects patient and employee care by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols Able to react effectively in emergency situations Presents a professional appearance and behavior that promotes patient care and a harmonious work environment Perform administrative task when needed Able to react to change productively and handle all other duties/essential tasks as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Education:
Dental Assistant diploma/certification from an accredited program.
Radiology certification CPR certification One year of experience in a dental practice; equivalent education and/or experience will be considered Knowledge of dentistry, particularly dental procedures and terminology, instruments, and hygiene Competency in administering dental x-rays and sterilization techniques Working experience with electronic dental record procedures Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of individuals; customer service skills to ensure positive patient courtesy Technical skills and proficiency with dental, scheduling, office, and other software with a working knowledge of Word and Excel Dexterity including the ability to handle instruments effectively with both hands PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS CBCT TDO and/or Endovision software Problem-solving skills; good judgment; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision Highly developed organizational and planning skillsJob Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
